A Whirlwind of Life
In a career that is blooming, Tamika Reynolds is one of many young American writers celebrating her first published book. Now, she presents a genre of poems on life, love, family and so much more. For her, writing has become something that she is truly passionate about. Through her writing, she wants to share with others the story of how she overcame some of her difficult life experiences.
For her most inspiring and motivational poem, Tamika writes on the life of a young girl who endured and overcame pain and hardships and became a success. Tamika does this in two parts. “Doors” tells how a young girl finally received the one thing she wanted most in life, and how she finally was able to move past discouragement and move forward with her life. “The Road to Recovery” shares how this now young woman has accomplished so much in her life after enduring many obstacles. This two part poem is a must read for anyone that is going through difficult times in life and is ready to give up. The main message drawn from the poems is to not let what people do to you affect your life. Put your faith and trust in God as this young girl did and God will give you a blessed life. He will help you get through all of your struggles and hardships.
In “Love is Finally Here,” after so many bad relationships and cheating men, this young woman finally finds her true soul mate, her perfect man. It is the man she has been waiting for all her life, the one she let God choose for her, the one who will soon be her husband.
The first of her kind, Tamika has established herself as a writer who can passionately motivate and inspire others through her writing. Each category reflects the changes she has endured as a young, black woman, mother, companion, friend, business owner and poet. Indulging, bold, and sexy, “A Whirlwind Life: Genres of Poetry,” will once again establish Tamika Reynolds as one of the nation’s upcoming and remarkable poets.
